Théologie sacramentaire et célébration du mystère du Christ dans l’année liturgique. Une approche

Au cours du XXe siècle, la redécouverte de la notion casélienne de « mystère » a permis de retrouver la dimension ecclésiale des célébrations sacramentelles. En considérant l’année liturgique dans son lien avec la christologie, la présente contribution cherche à déployer un propos qui tente d’articuler la réflexion en liturgie et en théologie sacramentaire alors que trop souvent encore, les approches risquent de ramener les aspects rituels des célébrations sacramentelles à un enrobement cérémoniel des actes sacramentels. En fondant la proposition sur une relecture des déplacements opérés par la recherche théologique au cours du XXe siècle, mais aussi sur l’enseignement de Vatican II dans la Constitution sur la liturgie, la contribution dresse quatre axes pour un chantier de recherche qui conjugue prise au sérieux de l’année liturgique comme actualisation des mystères salvifiques, les célébrations sacramentelles dans leur site liturgiques, et les questions de christologie qui apparaissent dans un monde contemporain marqué fortement par la rencontre des religions.

Sacramentary theology and celebration of Christ’s mystery in the liturgical year. An approach

The twentieth century rediscovery of Casel’s idea of « mystery » has permitted another rediscovery : that of the ecclesial dimension of the sacraments. This article, through its consideration if the liturgical year in its relation to Christology, seeks to weave together reflection on both liturgy and sacramental theology, to avoid the risk that is too often run of reducing the ritual aspects of sacramental celebrations to a ceremonial coating for sacramental acts. Taking as its basis a presentation of the shifts brought about by theological research during the twentieth century, as well as the teaching of Vatican II in the Constitution on the Liturgy, the article lists four axes for further research, bringing together the realization that the liturgical year constitutes an actualisation of the mysteries of salvation, sacramental celebrations in their liturgical setting, and issues in Christology that make their appearance in a contemporary world deeply marked by the meeting of different religions.
