Bulletin Évangiles synoptiques et Actes (113/2 – 2025)

Les remarques générales faites dans les derniers bulletins demeurent valables, c’est-à-dire la place dominante de l’anglais (et la place de la production aux États-Unis sans guère lire d’autres langues), l’importance prise par les lectures contextuelles ou genrées, la valeur à accorder aux ouvrages des collections que sont la WUNT et la LSNT, ma préférence pour les thèses se centrant sur un passage apparemment « mineur » mais qui permettent de jeter un regard nouveau sur un livre ou une question (cf. notices 27 et 2). Cela dit, l’excellente monographie sur la notion d’évangile dans Marc (cf. notice 25), qui permet de traverser tout l’évangile, ou celle sur Actes 17 (notice 12), montrent qu’il est encore possible de faire ce genre de travail. Dans ce bulletin, j’aimerais me concentrer sur quelques ouvrages, en étant plus rapide sur d’autres dont le lecteur intéressé pourra plus facilement découvrir le contenu par lui-même (ou, plus souvent, le consulter sur l’un ou l’autre point).
J’ajouterai une remarque qui n’est pas que technique : de plus en plus, les grandes maisons d’édition favorisent l’achat de leurs ouvrages sous format électronique (comme Bloomsbury par exemple et sa Library of New Testament Studies ou même De Gruyter avec sa Beihefte zur Zeitschrift für die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft, dont les ouvrages ne sont plus imprimés sous forme matérielle ; il en sera de même de Analecta Biblica à partir de 2025), tout comme les étudiants s’habituent de plus en plus à chercher leurs informations et documents sur internet. De ce fait, les grandes bibliothèques favorisent de plus en plus l’achat des ressources sous format électronique, se dispensant même, de plus en plus, de poursuivre l’achat des ouvrages ou collections sous forme matérielle. Pour ma part, surtout pour les ouvrages scientifiques et denses, je persiste à préférer le livre sous forme papier, en acceptant que cela signe mon âge ! Il y a clairement ici une évolution majeure du rapport au savoir et à son acquisition qui engage les différents champs de recherche au-delà même du monde biblique.
